Dover Private Guided Tours

I'm a family man first, I'm blessed with a wonderful wife, 2 beautiful daughters & 4 precious grandchildren.​ I was born in Dover and I have lived there my whole life, as a child I grew up just 1 mile from the White Cliffs of Dover and Dover Castle.

 

I spent my early years in the construction industry ​and have always had a complete love of buildings and their architecture and how people live and work in them. Dover has some of the finest medieval buildings in England and of course surrounded with pretty villages & seaside towns, today I have the pleasure of showcasing this amazing place!

Like many things in life, I didn't plan to become a tour guide. After a back injury (I'm fine now) I needed to reinvent myself. I decided to become a driver, I got all the right qualifications & licenses, a vehicle and set up my own business taking people to the airports for their vacations. I remember bringing a wonderful couple from their Central London hotel to Dover Cruise Terminal for their cruise, we were a little early so they asked "could you show us around" I wasn't sure what that meant so I showed them the areas where I grew up. They said they really enjoyed themselves and I loved it! Since then I've committed to become the best private tour guide I can be.

I've developed excellent relationships with Leeds Castle, Canterbury Cathedral & Dover Castle and more. Today I'm an accredited guide at Canterbury Cathedral (only accredited guides can tour inside the Cathedral) so I can personally guide you,
